EDITORIAL LINE AND OBJECTIVES OF
THE REVISTA DO TRT/MG
The Journal of the Regional Labour Court 3rd Region, named
Revista do Tribunal Regional do Trabalho 3ª Região is intended for all
who are interested in Labour Law and Labour Procedural Law, both
subjects examined from different points of view and by broad object
and valuation of legal interdisciplinarity.
It is a legal periodical designed to disseminate and deepen
the broad spectrum of issues linked to the world of work and the
resulting relations. This means that numerous topics are included in
our editorial line. By the way of illustration only: the Constitutional
Law, in all relevant biases concerning the constitucional legal
protections of human persons, their dignity and fundamental labor
rights, as well as the social value of work; the Labor Law, in its
individual and collective dimensions; the Labor Procedural Law, in
all its aspects, especially in its correlation with the Civil Procedural
law, in its search for effectiveness through institues of the Brazilian
judicial policy; the Civil Law that disciplines private relations and
several of the legal institutes found in labor relations, specifically in
the context of the employment relationship; the Corporate Law and
its interdependence with the world of salaried labor, covering the
facts that affect companies and jobs, such as the effects of judicial
and extrajudicial recovery, bankruptcy, liability of the partners etc;
the Environmental Law, with respect to the environment of work,
which should be healthy and safe; the Tax Law when considering the
tax consequences arising from the employment relationship, such
as the payment of social security contributions and income tax, the
application of fines for non-compliance with labor legislation; the
Social Security Law and its particularities regarding social benefits
whose generating event is linked to the employment relationship;
the Criminal Law, with respect to crimes arising from the employment
relationship; the Administrative Law, regarding the lawfulness of
