Until 2020, candidates from Sabbatarian faiths faced challenges in participating in these exams due to the tests being held on Saturdays. Following a change in understanding by the Supreme Federal Court (STF) in the judgment of RE 611874, it became possible for these candidates to take the exams at different times, respecting their religious beliefs, without compromising equality and fairness among candidates. The 2nd CNU adhered to this new guideline, allowing Sabbatarian candidates to take the exam after sunset on Saturday, without imposing any burden on public administration. This change represents progress in promoting inclusion, equality, and religious freedom in Brazil, aligning with the fundamental rights outlined in the Constitution and international treaties, as well as ensuring that religious plurality is respected in public competitions, creating a fairer and more democratic environment.Keywords: religious inclusion; National Unified Competition (CNU); Labor Judiciary; freedom of religion; sabbatarians; human dignity; reasonable accommodation; principle of equality; isonomy; public competitions; fundamental rights.1 INTRODUÇÃOO 2º CNU proporcionou a inclusão no acesso à Magistratura do Trabalho sob diversos aspectos. Dentre eles, destacam-se a aprovação do primeiro magistrado com deficiência visual a atuar no primeiro grau de jurisdição trabalhista e a aprovação de maioria feminina, o que contribui para o acesso das mulheres a posições de poder no Brasil.
